### I am using a personal organization in Yandex Cloud, but SourceCraft has created a new one. How do I delete it? {#personal-org}

To use a SourceCraft account, you need a [personal organization](https://sourcecraft.dev/portal/docs/en/sourcecraft/concepts/index.md#org), i.e., a workspace with you as the owner. During sign-up, SourceCraft looks for a suitable Yandex Cloud organization and, if it fails to find one, creates a new organization.

You cannot delete a personal organization directly. To delete it:

  1. [Contact](https://sourcecraft.dev/portal/docs/en/sourcecraft/operations/proposal-create.md) support to select a different personal organization.
  1. [Delete](https://sourcecraft.dev/portal/docs/en/sourcecraft/operations/delete-account-and-org.md) the organization you do not need.

To switch to a new personal organization, you must be its owner.

### I created a SourceCraft organization which I no longer need. How do I delete it? {#delete-org}

Since each SourceCraft organization is tied to a Yandex Cloud [organization](https://yandex.cloud/en/docs/organization/concepts/organization), you can manage them in [Cloud Center](https://center.yandex.cloud). If you have the required [permissions](https://sourcecraft.dev/portal/docs/en/sourcecraft/security/index.md#src-roles), simply delete the Yandex Cloud organization; this will also delete the organization in SourceCraft.
